Tom has been a consultant in Norwich since 2004, specialising in head and neck and thyroid cancers. He was Vice-President, Clinical Oncology (CO) at the Royal College of Radiologists in from 2022-2025, providing professional leadership to clinical oncologists, championing the role of the oncology workforce at a national level and helping to shape UK cancer policy. He is passionate about reducing unnecessary variation through sharing best practice. In a previous RCR role he conceived and led the national radiotherapy consent form project. He is one of the four authors of the ‘red book’ (Practical Radiotherapy Planning).

Naman is a multi-award winning Macmillan specialist therapeutic radiographer working towards consultant level practice setting up a new head and neck late effects service at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. He is also an allied health professional clinical advisor for Macmillan Cancer Support Charity and co-founded the international and multi-award winning podcast education and social media platform, Rad Chat.

Chelsey Powell is a therapeutic radiographer with twelve years of clinical experience at Addenbrooke’s radiotherapy department. Throughout her career, she has worked on a variety of treatment machines including Siemens, Elekta and Varian. Chelsey co-led the launch of AlignRT surface-guided radiotherapy to the department in 2024. She has a keen interest in improving patient experience and neuro-oncology. Colleagues know her for her calm professionalism, reliability, and approachable nature. Outside of work, Chelsey enjoys escaping into a fantasy novel, spending time with family, and visiting Disney theme parks. She is not known to take a serious photograph in her life.

Dr Kamal Thippu is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist working in Cambridge/King’s Lynn and an Affiliated Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge, specialises in lung, prostate, bladder and oligometastatic cancers. He is audit lead for the EofE RT Network. He underwent Clinical Oncology training in Cambridge and undertook a doctoral research fellowship, leading to an MD. He completed proton beam therapy and SRS fellowships. His research interests include technical radiotherapy, late-phase radiotherapy trials and AI in RT. He authored scientific papers and book chapters, also an educator and mentor for oncology residents. He is an Assistant Editor of Clinical Oncology.

Michael Thomas grew up in Canada and studied at McGill University in Montreal before coming to the UK to do a PhD in microelectronics at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge. He then changed focus and entered the IPEM training scheme at King’s College Hospital in south London, doing radiotherapy training at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s. After short terms at University College London Hospital, The Royal Marsden and The Ottawa Hospital, he settled at The Royal Marsden where he is now the head of radiotherapy physics for their Sutton site. His current interests include adaptive radiotherapy, 3D printing and breast radiotherapy.

Katie is the Lead Brachytherapy Physicist at Southend Hospital. She leads the very busy Brachytherapy Team and supports EBRT planning and oART when time allows! Previous work with Proknow has focussed on expanding the use of ProKnow across the region and nationally, including work on the national EBRT scorecards in 2023. In 2024, she established a national HDR prostate ProKnow group, enabling 13 centres in England to share data and collaborate - this work will be present at the upcoming ‘UK & Ireland Prostate Brachy Meeting’ in June.

Sara Lightowlers is a Clinical Oncology specialty registrar and former Chief Sustainability Officer's Clinical Fellow. She is also a member of the UK Radiotherapy Board's environmental sustainability working group and played a leading role in the development of the Board's 'Green Radiotherapy' framework. She has research interests around the intersection of clinical practice in oncology, environmental sustainability and implementation science, and around the impacts of extreme weather on cancer patients.

Luke Eggerton is currently seconded into a Research, Development and Innovation role at Barts Health, following his leadership as Informatics Lead. He chairs both the London and Barts Health AHP Informatics networks, driving digital transformation across services. His expertise in change management led to a pivotal role in advancing the Green AHP agenda, where he applies quality improvement methods to deliver sustainable change. Passionate about building a QI‑capable workforce, Luke established a multidisciplinary green team that achieved Green Radiotherapy Gold accreditation and organisational recognition. Beginning his career as a trainee assistant practitioner, he brings a whole-system perspective to delivering impactful, award‑winning change.

Helen Gregory is the Macmillan Consultant Therapy Radiographer in Palliative Oncology in the Radiotherapy department at Peterborough City Hospital. After graduating from the University of Derby with a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography in 2000, Helen worked in a number of Radiotherapy departments within the NHS and private sector before joining the Radiotherapy education team as a senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire. During the 11 years at the University, Helen undertook a number of roles, including Undergraduate Clinical Lead and Radiotherapy lead on the Postgraduate Radiotherapy programme. However, the call to return to clinical practice was too great and in April 2015 Helen became the first Consultant Radiotherapy Radiographer at Peterborough City Hospital.
Since then, she has developed the Consultant radiographer led palliative pathway and in 2018 was nominated and awarded ScoR East of England Radiographer of the Year in recognition of this work. Helen continues within her role and remains focused on improving the patient experience and holistic support for all patients undergoing radiotherapy, particularly with regards to treatment toxicity management and late effects.

Kim Whitlock is a Consultant Therapeutic Radiographer specialising in breast radiotherapy at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and part of the East of England RTN Consultant Radiographer Group. She also works within the Trust supporting the development of advanced and consultant practice and is a member of the Consultant Radiographer and Radiotherapy Advisory Groups with the Society of Radiographers. She has previously completed an 11-month secondment as a Radiography Clinical Fellow with NHS England Workforce, Training and Education Cancer and Diagnostics team and continues to support enhanced, advanced and consultant level practice within Radiography at a national level as co-facilitator of the SCoR Advancing Practice in Radiography (AP-RAD) special interest group.

Dr Osama Omrani is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Clinical Oncology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Cambridge, in the Digital Theme. His research interests centre on computational cancer medicine and multimodal machine learning, particularly the integration of clinical, imaging and molecular data to support personalised cancer care. He is also a member of the RCR Clinical Oncology Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee.

Ganesh is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist with site speciality interest in OG and HPB cancers based in Manchester. He has a keen interest in precision RT techniques (including MRgART and PBT) for HPB & OG cancers and Oligometastatic sites in the abdomen and pelvis. He has been involved in the development and delivery of national studies of PBT in OG, primary Liver cancers and Pancreatic Cancer. He has been involved in precision RT trials in the UK, treatment guideline development, RTTQA activity for OG and HPB clinical trials
