OCTOBER 2025 - MENOPAUSE AND CANCER

Managing menopause after cancer: A session for patients and their healthcare professionals

Session on how to manage menopause after cancer — created specifically for both patients and the cancer care teams who support them.

Led by Dani Binnington, founder of Menopause and Cancer and a patient with lived experience, the session blends personal insight with the latest evidence to explore the unique challenges faced by those experiencing treatment-induced menopause.

You’ll also learn about the work of Menopause and Cancer,  the UK’s only non-profit focused solely on this issue.  Learn how they support both patients and healthcare professionals through expert-led resources, clinical partnerships, and tailored services.  The session has been edited to remove patients' questions and comments at the end.

Gynaecological cancer information and support -

The BGCS is the professional home of health providers working and researching the area of gynaecological cancers.

Our members consist of medical practitioners, clinical nurse specialists and other allied health professionals, including scientists who have an interest in gynaecological

cancers. We represent trainees, nurses, unit leads, oncologists, pathologists and radiologists.

At Menopause and Cancer, we provide expert-led support for people navigating treatment-induced menopause after any type of cancer. From evidence-based information and a compassionate community to expert-led workshops and free menopause specialist appointments — we’re here to help survivors feel informed, empowered, and less alone.

Peaches Womb Cancer Trust is a UK-based charity working to improve the lives of those with and affected by womb cancer (also known as uterine or endometrial cancer). We do this by raising awareness, supporting and advocating for patients, and funding and promoting research. We provide trusted information and support to everyone affected by womb cancer through our website and social media, and by hosting regular support and educational events, including coffee mornings.

The Eve Appeal is the leading gynaecological cancer charity. Our aim is to prevent gynae cancers from developing in the first place, but if they do develop, we want to make sure they’re detected early so more people survive their diagnosis.

To make our goals a reality, we fund medical research, educate people about gynae cancers, and provide free, expert information and advice.
